The Kitties
We had a little milestone this morning - Sofie and Phoebe actually had breakfast next to each other!



Of course, once Sofie realized that SHE was there it was all over with! Oh well.



I don't think the kitten is healthy. She sneezes a lot, coughs, and is losing hair around her mouth. I'm taking her to the vet. I hope it's nothing major - I do not want the stress/expense of a cat with some chronic problem. And I do not want her to infect Sofie with something communicable.

aaaww these two blackies are sooo cute together!

Most kittens from shelters have one parasite or the other (Sophie had ringworm, didn't she?). You do well to go to the vet right now, they will know what to do so it goes away fast!

Yes, Sofie had ringworm.

They are cute, but I'm really, really thinking of bringing Phoebe back. I have not slept since I got her, have felt extra stressed because of it, and am getting sick - all just in time for my trip to Italy next weekend. I know that two weeks together isn't much, but I can't deal with it anymore. I'll decide tomorrow.

I feel so awful about this, but getter her one of the few things in my life that I really regret. A few weeks before I got her I told myself that Sofie would not like another cat. Then, at the shelter I told myself not to get another - even when I was holding her - but I gave into peer pressure :( Maybe Daniel's mom will take her.

Why did I get myself into this?
